Review: Pores Be Pure Skin-Claryfying Mud Mask

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've posted something, but I'm back! So I have been using this product for a a couple months and I really like it! I first heard about this product whilst watching Missglamorazzi on YouTube. I saw that she hauled this product, and I needed a face mask, so I decided to try it.

So, about this product. The company is called Formula 10.0.06 and you can get it at Ulta (I got mine on www.ulta.com) for $5.99. They have other masks for different purposes as well as blotting paper and facial cleaners. This particular product is called the "Be Pure Skin-Claryfying Mud Mask with Strawberry and Yarrow." The packaging says:

"This skin-refining mask with berry boosters goes straight to work on clogged pores. Strawberry and rosemary eliminate impurities, while yarrow clarifies skin for instant complexion perfection."

This product also smells SO GOOD! I wouldn't say that it smells incredibly strawberries, but it does smells like sweet berry and mud, but in a good way. It has an earthy kind of tone to but, but it does smell very good.

I use this product 2 to 3 times a day just to "de-gunk" my skin and cleanse my pores. It doesn't say that this particular mask shrinks pores, but I do notice that my pores look smaller, especially around my nose and under my eyes. Just apply this evenly all you face and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes, or until it's dry. Then just wash it off with warm water, and TADA! Clean face!

Until next time!

Review: MAC Fluidline Macroviolet

So I got this MAC Fluidline in Macroviolet in MAC's Christmas collection a couple of years ago, but I forgot about it until recently. It came with a pigment and the mini version of the MAC 209 brush, as you can see above, and a couple of other things, but the Fluidline is still my favorite. Even thought it was in their Christmas collection, this color is in their permanent line. It's $16.00 on it's own which is, I would say, a bargain considering the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner is $23.00 for the same amount of product.
This product comes in 6 colors, including Macroviolet (shown above) and Blacktrack (which is a very black). This particular product is very creamy. If you are use to the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Liner, this product can come as a surprise, but the color pay off and the quality is similar to the Bobbie Brown Gel Liner.

The great thing about this color is that it's not overly bright. It's a very subtle purple, especially if you layer it over a brown shadow. If you are looking for something that is not as harsh as a black eye liner, but something more exciting than a brown eye liner, this color is for you. It's especially pretty on brown-eyed people because the purple brings out the brown, but anyone of any eye color can wear this and it will still look pretty. It definitely looks brighter in the pot than it does on the eyes, so don't be afraid of it. If you're looking to incorporate a little more color into your make up, but still want to be subtle, this is a great product. I would say that it's both work and school appropriate. If you want to make this color pop more, you can add a bold purple eye shadow over the liner to make it stand out. All in all, I would say this is a product worth buying!
Until next time,

My Everyday Makeup!

So it's very gloomy and humid today, so there's really nothing to do, and quit frankly, nothing that I want to do.  So, I thought that I would share my everyday make-up routine with you!
So firstly, I start with my face. For foundation, I use makeup forever HD foundation. This foundation is FANTASTIC for special events because it's HD. There is no SPF, so it photographs beautifully, and, there is no white cast in the photos. However, if you are using this as an every day foundation, then I would absolutely suggest wearing a sun block under it (to be honest, sometimes I don't wear the foundation at all and just wear sun screen). The I put the Maybelline Dream Lume Touche concealer under my eyes. This is a very inexpensive dupe for the YSL Touche Eclat concealer. Then i cover my blemished with the Maybelline FIT ME concealer. To finish it all off, I power my nose, under-eyes, and forehead with Rimmel London Stay Matte Power. This stuff is awesome! I have combination skin so my t-zone tends to get oily, but if I apply this, I don't have to re-apply. This would be great for someone with oily skin, but I do not recommend it if you're skin tends to be on the dryer side.

Then I move onto eyes and brows. I do my brows using Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Power Duo. I just use a brow brush to apply this, and to set it I use the Great Lash Clear mascara. Then the eye lid. I usually like to stick with one color for the summer. I feel like it looks more natural and not as heavy, especially in the hot summer months. So, first I prime my eyes with Urban Decay Primer Potion. This is optional, but if I don't then my eye make-up creases and it looks very gunk-y. Then I take MAC Woodwinked (shown in the palette- the color with the hole in the middle- and swatched on my hand) and put it all over my eyelid. Taking the same color, I work it into my crease. The great thing about this color is that, I find, the more you play with it and work it it, it changed color a little bit, so, you get 2 or 3 colors in one product! AWESOME!!For the last two steps, I line my upper lash line with Revlon Color Stay, and but Benefit's They're Real! mascara on my upper lashes. Sometimes I put it on my lower lashes, sometimes I don't. It really depends on the day. And, TADA! That's it for the eyes!
For lips, my usual choices are MAC Speed Dial if I want want to go a little more natural (top color on my hand) or Maybelline Color Whisper in Faint for Fuscia (the bottom color on my hand) if I want to go more bold. If Speed Dial is still a little too much, then another great color that is more natural is MAC Creamcup.
Finally, I spritz a little but of this Nollie perfume. I'm not sure that the name of it is, but they have a punch of different colors in the same package, but my favorite is this green one, and you can get this from PacSun. The PacSun website describes this as "Nollie combines the scents of sweet fruit & light floral undertones with hints of pink rose petals& white jasmine. (www.pacsun.com)"

And that is it! My daily makeup routine! On average it usually takes me about 10 minutes to do!

Until next time!
